Ryan P. Scully is an American Composer residing in the Greater Philadelphia Area. He has been a composer for NFL Films since 2015 and is a regular contributor to a growing list of ground breaking and acclaimed series and films such as Quarterback(Netflix), All Or Nothing(Amazon), A Football Life/America’s Game(NFL/NFL Network) and 30 For 30(ESPN).
Ryan has always been an ardent fan of film music since a young age thanks to the sweeping and larger than life scores of John Williams and James Horner. It wasn’t until he saw Gladiator on the big screen along with Hans Zimmer’s timeless score that he wanted to seriously pursue composition.
In addition to regular scoring work, Ryan was also involved with the productions of both Championship Season Concerts(2018/2025) for the Philadelphia Eagles. He arranged a number works in celebration of the NFL’s Centennial Season and has had many pieces written for and recorded with full orchestra around the world.
Ryan has a degree in music from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. In addition to music composition, Ryan is also a multi-faceted guitarist, electronic producer and sound designer.
